Qualified Social Worker – Suffolk– Child Protection Team

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting experienced Qualified Social Workers to join a busy team at a Suffolk based within the Child Protection team. To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.

Primary Responsibilities as a Child Protection Social Worker:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of Children which coverers Child Protection, Child in Need and sometimes Children within Proceedings. The level in proceedings can be discussed
  • Attending to Section 47 enquiries
  • Completing Single Assessments
  • Completing Parenting assessments
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals/agencies to meet the identified needs of children, young people and their families including the Police and Education Services
  • Completing work under the Public Law Outline (PLO)
  • Completing Court reports/Assessments

What we are looking for in a Qualified Social Worker:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK license
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
