Our team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, exercise physiologists, social workers and psychologists provide clinic-based services in our expansive and beautiful Ashford site as well as on the road in our client’s homes and communities. About the Role:

• This role is suitable for an experienced or early career Social Worker, who has a special interest in working with people with brain injury, stroke, concussion or neurological conditions.
• The hours are negotiable, and workdays are flexible. Ideally, we are looking for 0.4 to 0.6FTE
• Remuneration will reflect the level of experience.

About you:

We are seeking a Social Worker who is extremely passionate about neurological rehab.

• You have knowledge of best practice in managing clients with an acquired brain injury, stroke and/or neurological condition
• You have a friendly, results-focused disposition and can work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary allied health team
• You display genuine empathy, compassion, patience and an interest in your clients’ needs
• You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. This is extremely important to us
• You have integrity; you are trustworthy and honest
• You love working in a fast-paced environment. We are a busy clinic and the role will require you to be comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritising.
• You are resourceful – if you don’t have the answer, you go out and find it
• You have a positive, can-do attitude and a great sense of humour. You bring energy to the room and love to have fun at work
• Bachelor of Social Work (or equivalent)
• Current National Police Check
• Current Working with Children Check
• Membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers
• Professional Indemnity Insurance
• A current and unrestricted Driver’s License
