We're currently working with an outstanding-rated local authority in the South East of England, offering a great opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join the Child and Family Assessment team as a Senior Social Worker.

Leaders in Care are offering £42/h for this role.

The council ensures manageable caseloads by evenly distributing cases across the service. You will be supported by a long-standing management structure to promote a stable and stress-free working environment.

The role involves handling child in need cases, ongoing care proceedings, conducting assessments, and making informed decisions on interventions to support children and families. Experience in child protection and court work is desirable but not mandatory.

This is a statutory role requiring a social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
