Sanctuary Personnel, a committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Senior Social Worker within the Prevention Team to work full time based in Southend.

The role involves supporting the Team Manager to provide leadership and supervision for Social Workers and Social Care Assessors, leading on Care Act assessments, safeguarding investigations and MCA meetings, and delivering a person-centred service that empowers communities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support the team to achieve professional standards and integrated working.
• Provide regular supervision to Social Workers and Assessors as per policy.
• Take a professional lead on Care Act assessments and safeguarding procedures.
• Chair best interest meetings and oversee Mental Capacity Act assessments.
• Promote high-quality social work practice and person-centred approaches.
• Coordinate with partners to manage risk and ensure effective interagency working.

Formation

Social Work Qualification or equivalent

Understanding of relevant legislation

Social Work England registered
