Salary: Grade 10 £52,744 - £55,946
Location: Princes Street House, 19 - 29 Princes Street, Port Glasgow
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
An opportunity has arisen to join the leadership team of our Children and Families social work service. Senior Social Workers play a key role in delivering frontline services and are responsible for leading a team of social workers and support workers. Your responsibilities include line management, supporting and developing your team, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement aligned with our Health and Social Care Partnership's goals to give children and young people the best start in life.
We seek an experienced leader with significant practice experience in voluntary and statutory community children's social work, with a successful track record of working with children, young people, their families, and partners to achieve positive outcomes.
Children's Services in Inverclyde is undergoing an exciting period of change to meet community needs, support children to remain at home, and provide high-quality support to families. The successful candidate will lead colleagues through this change, with a focus on implementing Signs of Safety and Healing, a comprehensive system change to improve outcomes for children and families.
