A local government authority in England is seeking Senior Social Workers to enhance community support for older adults and those with physical disabilities. Senior Social workers with empathy and the drive to make a difference, finding creative ways to support people to achieve what they want to and live as independently as possible in a place they call their home.
We need x2 permanent, full time, Senior Social Worker's to work across Lancashire as part of our Adult Services Older Adults and Physical Disability Community Teams. Both roles will be covering East Lancashire and based at either Pendle or Burnley.

We're driving forward innovative practice that will make a difference to our communities and we need new social workers to help us achieve our vision of supporting people to achieve what they want to, living independently in a place they call their home.
As part of your exciting new role, you will be expected to undertake strength based, outcome focussed assessments and support planning, ensuring that the residents of Lancashire receive the right amount of support.
You will play a vital role in supporting people to access local services, maintain independence, promote health and wellbeing and to live independently.
A key part of the role includes working alongside other agencies, professionals, and informal carers, providing a holistic service.

Social work applicants must be registered with Social Work England (SWE) to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied to register with SWE.
