Job Title: Senior Social Worker – Learning Disability & Transition Team
Location: Lewisham
Rate: £36 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a qualified Senior Social Worker to join our client’s Learning Disability & Transition Team in Lewisham.

What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will work as a senior social worker, tackling a small but complex caseload while also supervising a dedicated group of staff within a large, dynamic team led by the operational manager. Risk management and safeguarding, including children’s safeguarding where relevant, will be at the heart of your responsibilities. You’ll develop expertise in these critical areas and become a trusted advisor to your colleagues. Additionally, you’ll champion prevention and personalisation, embracing a strength-based approach to manage all case work effectively. Your leadership and specialized knowledge will make a significant impact on the lives of those you serve and the team you support.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have at least 2 years post-qualified experience as a Senior Social Worker.
