Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council is recruiting for a Social Worker in the Information, Advice and Assistance (IAA) team. The role handles initial public and professional enquiries to Children's Services, determining whether there is a need for information, advice and assistance or safeguarding investigations, and works to secure the best outcomes for children.

Grade 11 at 44,253 per annum (entry up to 3 years) and Grade 12 at 47,665 per annum (experienced).

Qualifications

• Registration with Social Care Wales is required.
• GR11: entry up to 3 years post-qualifying experience.
• GR12: minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience.

Responsabilités

• Handle enquiries from families and the public via telephone and other channels.
• Work within the IAA team to establish information, advice and assistance needs and safeguarding considerations.
