This role has a starting salary of £46,399 per annum, working 36 hours per week.
We are hiring a new Senior Social Worker to join our Guildford Locality team. The team is based in central Guildford and values extensive training, diversity, inclusion, and strong teamwork. We promote hybrid working, expecting team members to work in the office at least two days a week, with additional client visits throughout the week.

About The Role
As a Senior Social Worker, you may work across Duty and Allocations, involving safeguarding adults, case management of D2A cases, joint work with Occupational Therapists and Surrey's Reablement Team. You will conduct service provision via phone and home visits, promoting clients' choice and independence using Surrey’s strength-based approach.
You will undertake Care Act assessments, reviews, Mental Capacity Assessments, and legal casework, including complex case management. You will also supervise team members and contribute to complex case discussions as part of CPD.
Training, support, and regular supervision will be provided to help you transition and develop in the role. We seek motivated, flexible professionals with high standards and knowledge of current legislation relevant to social care.
