Zusammenfassung

LinsCare in Catford, London is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Families First Contact and Protection (FFCP) service. Based in Catford, you will assess children's needs, identify safeguarding concerns and coordinate timely interventions within a multidisciplinary team.

You will apply trauma-informed, anti-racist and Signs of Safety approaches, conduct comprehensive Family Help assessments, and develop multi-agency plans to support vulnerable families and safeguard children.

Qualifikationen

• A recognised Social Work qualification.
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Significant experience in children's social care and safeguarding.
• Experience conducting comprehensive assessments and managing complex cases.
• Knowledge of child protection and looked after children.
• Experience in MASH, referral, contact or assessment services.
• Excellent report writing, communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to make sound professional judgements and multi-agency plans.
• Strong organisational skills in a busy multidisciplinary environment.

Aufgaben

• Screen and assess contacts using the service's RAG rating system.
• Undertake triage, gather information and complete MASH checks.
• Carry out family visits and Family Help assessments.
• Make safeguarding decisions and determine need for statutory intervention.
• Develop and coordinate multi-agency support plans.
• Collaborate with children, parents, carers and partners.
• Apply restorative, trauma-informed and Signs of Safety approaches.
• Produce high-quality assessments, reports and case records within timescales.
• Contribute to coordinated, consistent family support.
