Senior Social Worker – Court Team – Sutton

iPeople SC Solutions is currently recruitingforSenior Social Worker within a dedicated Court Team for our client based in Sutton and surrounding areas.

Children’s Senior Social Worker – Court Team

• Senior Social Worker within dedicated Court Team
• Social Worker will need to be able to manage cases within court proceedings from inital hearing to fnial and then adoption if needed
• Social Worker will need to produce good standard of report writing and be able to give evidence in court
• Experience of managing Looked After Children and Children with CP plans
• Experience of undertaking viability assessment and parenting assessments
• This team only takes on cases within care proceedings so you must enjoy completing Court work
• You will only hold cases within care proceedings (and a few supervision orders) and case going to adoption
• Protected casess load in view of demand of court work
• Must have court experience, knowledge and be able to write court reports, undertake parenting assessment and work with children placed with their parents and other family members, or within the Local Authorities care
• Social Worker will be based at home, however will need to visit children and attend the office to undertake duty – approx once every 2 weeks and face to face meettings
• You will recieve good managment support and have the opportunity to develop skills in undertaking viability assessments and parenting assessments
