Are you ready for your next challenge in mental health social work? We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Social Worker to join our Bracknell Community Mental Health Team for Adults on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Any successful internal candidate will be offered the position as a secondment and, in line with Section 8.1 of the Secondment Policy, must consult with their manager before applying.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker, registered with Social Work England, to join our friendly, dynamic, and supportive multi-disciplinary team, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities.
You will work closely with both social care and health professionals, focusing on discharge planning for inpatients at our local Mental Health hospital.
You will play a key role in delivering timely assessments and implementing effective safeguarding plans, with the support of experienced senior staff and managers to guide you.

The Bracknell Adult Community Mental Health team is a dedicated team providing vital support to adults experiencing significant mental illness, as well as their carers. We are committed to safeguarding vulnerable adults, actively identifying and responding to risks to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
We offer a range of interventions, including medication management and psychological therapies, all while coordinating comprehensive, person-centred care within the community.
The team also fulfils statutory responsibilities under the Mental Health Act 1983, the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and the Care Act 2014.
