Job description

No Micro-Management | Stable Service | Manageable Caseload | Flexible Working Options

We're seeking an experienced disabilities practitioner to join a super stable, close-knit CwD service in the South West of England.

Salary - Up to £45,718

Welcome retention payments of £6000 in year 1!

Leaders in Care are working in partnership with the highly regarded Gloucestershire County Council, on a great opportunity for an experienced children's social worker to join the Children with Disabilities team.

In this role, you will be joining a close-knit team who will make you feel welcome from day 1 – allowing you to settle in and focus on building relationships with the children and families involved in the service, as well as the team around you.

The CwD service is very stable, so you can expect a manageable workload, with cases split evenly across the service. You will also become a part of a very close-knit team who have all been a part of the service for extended periods of time.

This council also has a strong reputation for career progression, so should you want to further advance your career, this is a great place to be, as you will be allowed opportunities to step up to ATM / Advanced practitioner when opportunities arise!

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
