Liquid Personnel is looking for a Senior Social Worker in the Children in Need Service in Islington.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a social worker, you will provide professional casework to children and young people needing support and guidance. You must uphold high professional standards and be knowledgeable about relevant legislation, regulations, and practice methods to effectively advocate for and assist young individuals. Your key responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating safeguarding needs for children in need, including those at risk of significant harm. You will work within the Children’s Services Framework and national legislation, support children and families to promote positive outcomes, and maintain accurate records of all case interactions. Additionally, you will collaborate with other professionals and agencies, participate in supervision and team meetings, and contribute to service development through feedback and involvement in projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

You must have a degree in social work, be registered with a relevant professional body, and have extensive experience in children’s social care. A strong understanding of child development and the impact of abuse and neglect is essential.
