About the role:
An exciting new opportunity has come up to join my client based in the Teesside area. They are looking for an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join their CIC team. This team works with children and young people who are currently in their care. We are looking for people who are keen for a new challenge and want to take the next step up to grow together!
As the Social Worker you will:
Have experience of Safeguarding, working with Children Looked After, Adoption, and supporting children through transition including reunification plans. Your main duties will include undertaking statutory home visits within timescales and excellent recording and timekeeping skills. You should have experience and be highly skilled in undertaking direct work with children. You will be expected to have good knowledge and understanding of the Child Looked After processes.
You will be expected to prepare reports for and attend Child Looked After reviews, hold monthly Care Team meetings, and record them in a timely manner. You will also attend strategy meetings, stability meetings, and be confident.
