What you will do:

• Conduct thorough assessments of risks and needs to ensure child safety and welfare
• Undertake section 47 enquiries and facilitate direct work with children and families
• Progress cases to Initial Child Protection Conferences (ICPCs) or Child in Need (CIN) meetings
• Collaborate with multi-agency teams to devise and implement support plans for children and their families
• Maintain up-to-date records and reports in accordance with legislation and local policy
• Participate in case discussions and provide expert advice to colleagues and partners

This fantastic role is best suited for those who are over 5 years qualified, with significant experience in Assessment. It is essential that candidates are Social Work England registered and have prominent frontline experience within UK social services as qualified social workers.
