Job Title: Senior Social Worker
Location: Coventry
Rate: £32 per hour
Our client in Coventry is seeking four experienced Social Workers to join their All-Age Disabilities Service.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will review and assess a backlog of cases, conducting thorough, strength-based assessments and producing high-quality reports. You will ensure compliance with key legislation, including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act, UK GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your work will focus on supporting individuals with disabilities, promoting independence, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver the best outcomes.
Qualifications and Experiences:
To succeed in this role, you must hold a recognized qualification in social work (MA, BA, BSc, Diploma, or CQSW) and be registered with Social Work England. You should have substantial experience supporting vulnerable adults, including those with disabilities and complex needs. Strong assessment, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential, along with a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
