Job description
Senior Social Worker – Adults Localities Team

Sanctuary Personnel has a new permanent position available for an Adult Senior Social Worker within the Locality Team to work full time based in Hillingdon. The salary for this permanent Senior Social Worker job is up to £49,083 per annum.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing social work caseload of more complex nature and with high levels of autonomy.
  • Providing expert professional and technical advice to other Social Workers, managers, colleagues and partners.
  • Providing professional supervision of other Social Workers, supporting caseload management and promoting reflective practice and continuous professional development.
  • Demonstrating skilled use of a range of frameworks for assessment and intervention.
  • Modeling and helping others develop social work professionalism and effective caseload management.
  • Establishing a network of internal and external colleagues to support effective practice.
  • Preparing reports for the Court of Protection.
  • Chairing professional meetings with inter-agency partners and clients.
  • Producing management information and analysis.
  • Participating in team planning and contributing to the delivery of team and service plans.
  • Demonstrating awareness and compliance with required standards, including the Social Work Professional Capabilities Framework.

Requirements of this role:

  • A social work qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England).
