Senior Social Worker Adults Hospital Team

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Senior Social Worker within the Adults Hospital Team to work full time based in Hillingdon.

The salary for this permanent Senior Social Worker job is up to £49,083 per annum.

1. Manage social work caseload of more complex nature and with high levels of autonomy.
2. Provide expert professional and technical advice to other Social Workers, Managers, colleagues and partners.
3. Provide professional supervision of other Social Workers (circa 3-6), supporting caseload management and promoting reflective practice and continuous professional development.
4. Demonstrate skilled use of frameworks for assessment and intervention.
5. Model and help others develop social work professionalism and effective caseload management.
6. Establish network of internal and external colleagues to support effective practice.
7. Prepare reports for Court of Protection.
8. Chair professional meetings with inter-agency partners and clients.
9. Produce management information and analysis.
10. Participate in team planning and contribute to the delivery of team and service plans.
11. Demonstrate awareness and compliance with required Standards including the Social Work Professional Capabilities Framework.

Requirements of this role:

1. Social work qualification with registration with Social Work England.
2. Experience in managing social work caseloads and supervising others.
3. Experience of community and/or group work.
4. Knowledge of children's health and social care systems, agencies, and relevant legislation.
