Senior Social Worker – Adult Social Care

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Senior Social Worker within the Adult Social Care Team to work Part Time (22.5 Hours) based in Brent Cross, London.

The salary for this permanent Senior Social Worker job is up to £42,367 per annum

• Enabling and supporting adults in Jewish Community.
• Supervising Social Workers, Social Work Students and Volunteers.
• Prioritizing work in accordance to complexity and level of risk, whilst working with local authorities and other health and social care agencies to develop closer working relationships.
• Demonstrate confident and effective judgement about risk and accountability in decision-making and be able to sustain engagement with fluctuating circumstances and capacities, including where there is hostility and risk.
• Use professional judgement, employing a range of interventions: promoting independence, providing support and protection, taking preventative action and ensuring safety whilst balancing rights and risks.
• Deliver formal professional reflective supervision and provide guidance and advice regarding casework to less experienced qualified staff.
• Where required, take the role of practice educator (or train as a practice educator) for students and the role of ASYE assessor and supervisor for newly qualified social workers in the team.
• Take professional and personal responsibility for clear recording of analysis and judgements, maintaining up to date case work records on the database.
• Take responsibility for working within the Directorates data protection policies.

Requirements of this Senior Social Worker job:
