Senior Social Worker Position in Richmond, UK - Mental Health Specialism, Full Time, £36 Hourly, 3-Month Locum Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Social Worker to make a real difference within the Richmond Mental Health Social Care Team. Situated at the Twickenham Civic Centre, just 20 minutes from Clapham Junction by train, this full-time role spans three months and offers a pay rate of £36 per hour. As a key player, you will support the Assistant Team Manager and Team Manager in delivering a dynamic, person-centred service for adults facing enduring mental health challenges, ensuring both their social care needs and those of their carers are met.

What you will do

• Lead and support a team of Social Workers and Social Care Assessors, ensuring high standards of practice and delivery of services.
• Act as a Safeguarding Adult Manager for S42 enquiries, taking the lead in safeguarding matters.
• Manage a caseload of complex cases, maintaining professional service standards.
• Promote high standards of front-line practice and manage duty responsibilities as part of a rota.
• Collaborate with team management to improve service delivery and support ongoing professional development.
