BAND 7

SALARY: (£50,861 - £59,159)

This is a new and exciting opportunity to share your expertise as an experienced practitioner and directly assist the Social Work Team Manager with their duties and responsibilities.

Working under the supervision of the Social Work Team Manager within your District, you will provide leadership, advice, support, and guidance to social workers and social care staff within your District Team.

You will lead on elements of practice to ensure that professional standards and service objectives, as set out within legislation, policy, guidance, and delegated responsibilities, are adhered to.

You will contribute to service improvement and the quality of practice of the District Team, ensuring their contribution to the delivery of Integrated Health and Social Care for the adult population of Sutherland. This is an important time of change in NHS Highland’s approach to service delivery, and the post holder will play a key role in supporting team members through this change.

Although this post is a 37-hour, full-time position, part-time, secondment, and fixed-term contracts will be considered.

A driving license is essential, and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes.
