Job summary

Qualifications

• A recognised Social Work qualification and professional registration.
• Experience providing leadership in social work practice and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational management of the service, including allocation of work and staffing.
• Line manage social workers and practitioners, supporting development and wellbeing.
• Lead on complex, high-risk cases with expert advice and decisions.
• Ensure statutory duties under Care Act 2014, MCA 2005, safeguarding responsibilities.
• Manage delegated budgets and monitor performance using data and KPIs.
• Build partnerships with housing, health, criminal justice and voluntary sectors.
