JustOT are looking to recruit a Senior Social Services Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in Shropshire.

The pay for this position is £31.97 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy, be HCPC registered and be in line with the new 12 month MOC exemptions for the West Midlands.

Successful candidate must have over 7 years of experience.

Job Description:
Shropshire Council is conducting a Single-Handed Care Review project, which involves evaluating existing care packages for clients in Shropshire. The role entails performing 10 single-handed assessments per week over 15 weeks, aiming to provide appropriate equipment to reduce the reliance on carers, thereby enhancing independence and improving clients' wellbeing.

Responsibilities include ordering and managing equipment needs assessed under the Care Act (2014) and collaborating closely with the Adult Social Care team to reassess existing support plans.
