A leading international NGO in the UK seeks a creative and data-driven Senior Social Media Officer to manage its social media presence across various channels. This position involves developing strategies, engaging followers, and crafting impactful content while analyzing performance to drive results. Ideal candidates will have experience in social media management, strong storytelling abilities, and a collaborative mindset. The role offers a flexible working environment with a hybrid model and excellent benefits.
We're looking for a creative and data‑driven Senior Social Media Officer to take the lead on managing and evolving our social media presence across multiple channels. You’ll work closely with colleagues across our global teams to bring our brand to life online—raising awareness, driving engagement, and helping us tell powerful stories of change. This role sits within our Brand & Communications team.
You are a dynamic digital communicator with a passion for social justice, sustainable development, and climate resilience. You know how to craft content that cuts through the noise and builds community. You’re equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to write a post or digging into analytics to drive results. You’re curious, collaborative, and confident in your expertise—ready to take initiative while working as part of a supportive and values‑driven team.
Working with us means being part of a team that drives meaningful change—not just talking about it. You’ll join a community of experts, activists, and innovators united by a shared belief that where there’s action, there’s hope. Your work will help power solutions that improve lives, protect our planet, and challenge the status‑quo. We offer a flexible, inclusive, and purpose‑driven work environment where your voice will be heard and your ideas will help shape our future. Our open‑plan offices are located in the centre of Rugby and near Rugby train station.
The successful applicant must have the pre‑existing right to both live and work in the UK. This will be a global role based in the UK, and they must be within a commutable distance from our office in Rugby, as they would be expected to attend the office as per our General Principles of Hybrid working.
