The Royal Shakespeare Company seeks a creative and strategic Senior Social Media Manager to lead innovative content initiatives across platforms. This full-time role demands expertise in storytelling, social media trends, and team management, contributing to the RSC's mission of connecting with audiences and enhancing their brand visibility.

Do you have experience of filming and editing short-form social media video content?
We are looking for a creative and strategic Senior Social Media Manager to take our social media forward, developing a fresh, engaging and data driven approach across our channels. As a key voice for our brand, you'll be responsible for planning, commissioning and delivering standout content that deepens connection with our audiences, celebrates our work and raises awareness about our mission.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Stratford-upon-Avon. You will be working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although some degree of flexibility will be required according to workload, including some evening and weekend work. Options for flexible working, home working and part time will be considered.
The Senior Social Media Manager role is based within the fast-paced Audiences and Marketing department and works closely across Marketing, Media and Communications and the wider organisation. It requires a confident, creative communicator and leader who can build strong relationships production teams, creatives, actors and senior leaders and deliver timely, high-impact content, understanding its impact and championing it to others. The postholder must be responsive to trends, audience-focused, and able to manage competing priorities under pressure, while staying adaptable in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The interviews will be two stages, the first round will be online towards the end of June and the second round will be in Stratford-upon-Avon, in person in early July.
