South Ayrshire Council seeks a committed social care professional to supervise and enhance care standards for residents. The role involves direct care activities and close engagement with social care workers, contributing to wellbeing and community care. Salary: £32,437 - £35,102 per year

Hours: 36 hours per week
To ensure the wellbeing of residents by supervising, maintaining and developing the standards of care and practice of Social Care Workers and to participate in direct care activities. This will include providing extended personal care.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made. The grade of this post is Level 7 plus a Night Work Allowance.
