Job description

Social network you want to login/join with:

We’re the London division of McCann Central, with 500+ employees across 6 offices in the UK. We consider ourselves McCann Worldgroup’s best-kept secret, located within McCann UK’s Bishopsgate HQ.

Our award-winning team of over 80 thinkers, doers, noisemakers, and problem-solvers combines creativity and science to propel our clients’ businesses into their next growth phase.

We have experienced consistent, profitable growth over the past 8 years. Currently, we are the global lead agency for Qatar Airways, the lead agency for Mastercard across Europe, the integrated lead agency for the Electoral Commission, and we recently secured a new integrated account.

Our vision for the future:

We are ambitious and proud of our progress, but we aim for more. Our next growth phase focuses on enhancing our reputation both internally within McCann Worldgroup and externally. We seek to build a sustainable agency that we can all be proud of and that makes us famous for our work.

The social media team is part of the broader McCann team, working on integrated clients and managing your own portfolio. You will have access to the latest social media tools and direct access to social channels.

If you have at least five years of agency experience leading social media strategy and delivery, we want to hear from you. You should demonstrate exceptional social media expertise and client management skills, comfortable developing plans for existing clients and pitching for new business.

If you think you fit this role, get in touch soon—opportunities like this are rare.

Roles and responsibilities include:

  1. Planning, designing, implementing, and monitoring social media marketing campaigns.
  2. Creating, curating, and managing content across various formats.
  3. Staying updated on social media trends, design, applications, and strategies.
  4. Developing marketing plans to enhance brand image, engagement, and conversions.
  5. Managing social ad campaigns aligned with strategic marketing plans.
  6. Building and maintaining strong client relationships, including occasional overseas travel.
  7. Leading the in-agency social media team, including a Social Account Director, Account Manager, Strategist, and creatives, coordinating their efforts to meet campaign goals.
  8. Tracking campaign performance metrics and reporting results to management and clients.
  9. Managing budgets and forecasts for social media accounts, participating in weekly leadership meetings.

We offer a competitive salary plus benefits such as 28 days holiday (plus additional paid leave), pension contributions, life assurance, and more.

Our culture emphasizes learning and development, providing access to industry-leading training and working with major media partners for exclusive features and products.

Most importantly, you will be part of a fun, collaborative, and supportive team environment.

Our commitment to equal opportunities:

We value diversity as a key driver of success. We strive to create an inclusive environment that fosters belonging, connection, and shared purpose. We are a disability-confident employer and guarantee interviews to disabled candidates who meet minimum criteria, encouraging applicants to disclose any necessary accommodations during the process.
