Job summary

N-able in Dundee is hiring 3 Senior SOC Analysts for its new SOC team. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the Dundee hub. You will analyze, document, and report security incidents, create dashboards, and contribute to automation.

On-call rotation may be required, with opportunities to lead and mentor a growing team in a global security program. The ideal candidate has extensive SOC experience, strong knowledge of modern defense frameworks, and hands-on experience with SIEM tooling

Qualifications

• Strong multi-domain security experience across SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR, MDR, and application security.
• Hands-on Splunk experience with multi-source log analysis.
• Deep understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, exploits and attack vectors.
• Solid networking knowledge (HTTP/HTTPS, SMB, LDAP) and related security tooling.
• Experience in SOC operations, incident response, or threat hunting with leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, monitor, investigate, and analyze intrusions.
• Analyze security events from cloud, host, and network tools.
• Mentor lower-level analysts and act as escalation point.
• Drive remediation for security incidents and communicate findings.
• Develop metrics and reports for Security Operations Leadership.
