Role Overview

The Cyber Security Engineer will be crucial in designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions that safeguard Strada’s cloud and on-premise infrastructure. This hands-on, technical role involves working across security operations, engineering, and risk management to enhance our security posture while supporting business growth.

You will collaborate with security architects, BISOs, and cloud security teams to establish a robust cybersecurity framework as we expand rapidly.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Engineering & Operations
• Design and implement security solutions across cloud, endpoint, identity, and network security.
• Configure and maintain security tools such as SIEM, EDR, WAFs, firewalls, IAM, and vulnerability management platforms.
• Work with infrastructure and DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead deployment of zero-trust architectures, security automation, and monitoring solutions.
• Support security incident detection, investigation, and response with SOC and Red Team.

• Threat & Vulnerability Management
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests, prioritizing remediation efforts.
• Develop automated solutions for common security risks and misconfigurations.
• Monitor security logs and alerts, refining detection and response procedures.

Risk & Compliance Support

• Collaborate with GRC and compliance teams to implement controls aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Assist in security reviews for vendors, M&A due diligence, and cloud risk assessments.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or cloud security.
• Strong knowledge of Azure security controls, IAM, and cloud-native security services.
• Experience with endpoint security, SIEM/SOAR, network security, and automation tools.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Deep understanding of vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security hardening.
• Knowledge of SOC processes, incident response, and forensics.
• Strong grasp of zero-trust architectures, identity security, and secure DevOps practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively across IT, DevOps, compliance, and engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, Azure Security Engineer.
• Experience in HR and payroll security or large-scale SaaS environments.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements like GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS.
