Qualifications

• Extensive DBA experience with Snowflake.
• Strong SQL and complex query writing skills.
• Expertise in Shell, Python, and Ansible scripting.
• Knowledge of Patroni for HADR and streaming replication.
• Experience with ETL processes.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica and Talend.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Greenplum.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Snowflake databases.
• Implement Snowflake modeling and integrate with data processing technologies.
• Design and manage data lakes and structures for Snowflake architecture.
• Build data ingestion pipelines using Informatica and Talend.
• Manage data from multiple sources.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Perform backup, recovery, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Execute data migrations with minimal downtime.
• Utilize Greenplum utilities for data loading.
• Develop automation scripts.
• Implement monitoring solutions and ensure security.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Provide on-call availability over weekends.
