Allica Bank is seeking a Collections & Recoveries professional to support the Head of Collections & Recoveries in managing Commercial Mortgage, Asset Finance and Growth Finance portfolios with a focus on at-risk customers. You will drive repayment strategies, coordinate with third parties, and ensure compliance with Treating Customers Fairly.

The role requires 3+ years in SME collections, knowledge of CM/AF lending, and familiarity with IFRS 9 impairment processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Collections department in CM or AF (or both) relating to SMEs.
• Evidence of successfully managing a portfolio of distressed assets to maximise customer collections.
• Expert knowledge of CM and AF lending products and enforcement options.
• Knowledge of regulatory environment including Treating Customers Fairly and vulnerable customers.

Responsabilités

• Managing a portfolio of accounts showing signs of deteriorating credit quality and accounts in workout/recovery by implementing a repayment or recovery strategy on both a portfolio and individual customer basis.
• Where applicable, completing site visits to customers in difficulties, reviewing positions and proposing workout plans.
• Terminating finance agreements on AF exposures and coordinating recovery with asset managers to maximise proceeds.
• Keeping Watchlist up to date and assisting with monthly reports to Credit Risk meetings.
• Liaising with insolvency practitioners, collection agents, and instructing solicitors where required.
• Ensuring delinquency ageing is accurately categorised for IFRS 9 reporting.
• Anticipating regulatory changes and developing contingency plans and strategic responses.
• Ensuring fees and recovery income/expense align with budget.
• Continuously evaluating market conditions and emerging risks in the portfolio.
• Acting as change management supporter to improve processes with the business line mission squad.
