Job summary

Chatterbug Speech & Language Therapy in Sheffield is seeking a Clinical Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to provide senior clinical leadership within our new Sheffield service while remaining clinically productive.

The post holder will lead advanced practice, supervision, complex clinical decision-making, governance and service development, working with clinicians who push standards and use innovative tools to support outcomes.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience working with children and young people with Speech, Language, and Communication Needs, including complex presentations.
• Experience providing clinical supervision, multidisciplinary leadership and contributing to service development or quality improvement.
• Evidence-based practice and ability to implement governance and quality assurance measures.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior clinical leadership within a locality while managing a clinical caseload.
• Lead escalation and interfaces with specialist services and education, health and SEND partners.
• Contribute to governance, audit, and continued service improvement and workforce development.
