The Role

Hain Daniels are currentlyrecruiting for a Senior Skilled Technician at our Fakenham site.Fakenham is ourdedicated Meat Free facility, producing vegetarian products for The Unbelievable ALT. brand and under license for Linda McCartney Foods.

Key Responsibilities / Accountability of the Role:Manage shift performance (health and safety, labour, materials, customer service)
Ensure line KPI data recording takes place and is complete. Specific examples include materials, labour, GMP, customer service, health and safety, line efficiency, yields, waste, and downtime.
Ensure that all resources (labour, materials and packaging) deliver the production plan.
Control all downtime to a minimum where issues are acted upon immediately and incidents of more than 10mins are reported to the Team Leader.
Provide information of issues to ensure improvements are captured and implemented.
Ensure all near miss and accident are reported
Ensure machines are set up correctly and has the ability to strip and clean machines
Ensure machines are ready to run and the relevant paperwork is filled in

What you will need for the Role:To support shift manager and team leader in controlling an efficient, continuously improving, production line / area optimises product quality, GMP, customer service, cost and health & safety. Specific responsibilities include delivering KPI objectives with a well trained team where there is open communications at all levels and has the ability to run a multitude of machinery, has the understanding to strip and clean and set up machines
