Job summary

The Coventry School Foundation invites applications for a Senior Site Services Officer to join the Facilities and Estates team at Bablake School in Coventry. The role is a 1-year fixed term contract, full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a paid lunch break and on-call duties.

The post holder will lead caretaking and maintenance services across Bablake sites, supervise the team day-to-day, and participate in a weekend duty rota and 24-hour on-call rota as required.

1 Year fixed term Contract

Full Time, All Year Round

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with an hours’ unpaid lunchbreak, plus on call

Grade 6 £29,972 - £37,950

We are looking to appoint a Senior Site Services Officer to join our Facilities and Estates team at Coventry School Foundation. You will be predominantly based on Bablake sites but may also be required to work at any of the Foundation premises.

Post-holders are responsible for providing an effective and efficient caretaking and maintenance service assisting with the cleanliness and general tidiness of the school buildings and carrying out general maintenance and specialist tasks/activities as directed, as well as managing the team on a day-to-day basis.

As such, the successful applicant will be required to be part of a weekend duty rota for example 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 weekends, but will be clarified, which involves opening and closing the school on Saturdays. The post-holder will also be required to participate in the 24-hour emergency on call rota on the same basis.
