Job summary

EDF is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Site Operations at Sizewell C to lead a portfolio of welfare facilities, site infrastructure and services. You will oversee a team of Site Operations Project Managers and Service Delivery Managers, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to high safety standards.

Reporting to the Site Operations Site Lead, you will drive governance, stakeholder management and programme delivery across the Sizewell C site while promoting the SZC Zero Harm ambition

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• SMSTS or IOSH qualification.
• Significant project management experience within major infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of Principal Contractor responsibilities.
• Experience in site establishment, logistics, facilities management, infrastructure, utilities, or earthworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Site Operations Projects team.
• Lead Site Operations Service Delivery Managers for key services.
• Provide guidance, oversight and governance for budgets, milestones and safety.
• Deliver multiple site operations projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Maintain budget oversight and governance responsibilities.
• Coordinate welfare and facilities requirements to support workforce growth.
• Interface between Site Operations, Buildings and project stakeholders.
• Manage contractor performance, risk assessments and project governance.
• Support development of site infrastructure, utilities and operational facilities.
• Maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and project teams.
