Senior Site Manager: New Build Construction Lead

Job summary

We Are Footprint is seeking an experienced Site Manager / Senior Site Manager to lead a new build project in Ellesmere Port. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and drive the works from start to finish.

The role requires a strong background in residential/commercial new build, excellent H&S and quality awareness, and the ability to keep the project on programme. SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are desirable qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager or Senior Site Manager.
• Strong new build construction background.
• Good knowledge of general building construction.
• Confident managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong health and safety and quality awareness.
• SMSTS certification is preferred.
• CSCS certification is preferred.
• First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site teams.
• Keep the project on programme and to a high standard.
• Manage health & safety and site documentation.
• Check quality and ensure works are completed right first time.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors and client team.
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates.
• Manage short-term programmes and site logistics.
• Deal with any issues on site and keep the project moving.
