Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a hands‑on Senior Site Manager to join a Tier 1 principal contractor on a flagship project valued at around £300 million. The role centers on delivering internal packages safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

You will coordinate subcontractors, lead site teams and drive productivity across multiple trades, while maintaining a strong safety culture and effective management of interfaces and milestones.

Qualifications

• Proven senior site management on major construction projects.
• Background progressing from trades to management roles.
• Experience delivering internal packages on large-scale schemes.
• Ability to drive programme, productivity, safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Programme Delivery: drive progress against milestones and keep packages on track.
• Internal Packages: oversee complex internal works across multiple trades.
• Productivity: maximise workforce productivity and optimise labour allocation.
• Health & Safety: maintain a strong safety culture and compliance.
• Quality Control: enforce high-quality finishes and inspections.
• Subcontractor Management: coordinate subcontractors and hold teams to delivery.
• Site Leadership: maintain visible leadership and strong relationships on site.
• Coordination & Reporting: manage interfaces and project milestones with the wider team.
