Leading London Developer in North London is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead day-to-day site delivery on a major student accommodation and residential development. You will work with the Project Manager and senior team to translate the master programme into clear site priorities, ensuring safe, high-quality progress across multiple trades.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong subcontractor management, and a track record of delivering complex multi-storey schemes with RC-frame

Formación

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on substantial residential, student accommodation or mixed-use developments.
• Background working for a main contractor or residential developer.
• Strong understanding of multi-storey construction, RC-frame experience highly desirable.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and managing interfaces between construction, building services and fit-out.
• Demonstrable ability to manage short-term programmes, maintain progress and resolve site-delivery issues.
• A track record of achieving high-quality finishes and leading teams to completion.
• SMSTS, CSCS card and First Aid at Work certification.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day site operations across allocated buildings or workstreams, with clear accountability for safety, quality and programme.
• Develop and manage short-term programmes and look-ahead schedules aligned with the master construction programme.
• Coordinate subcontractors, supervisors and site teams, setting clear expectations and monitoring delivery against milestones.
• Manage interfaces between envelope, building services, internal fit-out and finishing trades.
• Identify constraints, design queries and resource shortfalls early, implementing practical solutions with the wider team.
• Chair subcontractor coordination meetings and follow through on actions.
• Maintain health and safety standards through site inspections and briefings.
• Oversee quality inspections, records and defect prevention throughout construction.
• Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, storage and access in a busy urban environment.
• Work with commercial and technical teams to manage design information, buildability, changes and delivery implications.
