Job description

About The Company
A well established contractor from South Wales who specialise in the construction of petrol forecourts, EV charging installations, and full turnkey construction projects.

About The Role
As a Senior Site Manager you will lead the delivery of projects at site level, managing teams of workers as they undertake a range of works including civils, groundworks, and some aspects of construction and fitouts.

Projects vary in size and value and include petrol forecourt construction, installation of EV charging stations, infrastructure works including relocation and installation of fuel tanks, canopy installations, tarmaccing, ducting and drainage.

Key responsibilities Include:

  • Management of day-to-day operations on site including the initial site set-up
  • Implementing Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management procedures at a site level
  • Monitoring daily productivity, including sub-contractors, resource levels and quality of works in progress
  • Monitoring progress against a programme of works and advising Management of any potential programme delays or concerns
  • Keeping projects on track and liaising with other construction professionals, clients and sometimes members of the public.


What You Need to Succeed
You will have a background in civils & groundworks and have 5+ years experience working as a Site Manager role previously.

Previous experience in petrol forecourt construction would be preferable.

You will have managed civils and groundworks projects to completion up to the value of 1.5m.

You will have SMSTS, CSCS or CPCS, First Aid. A SPA Passport would be preferred.
