Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is recruiting for a Senior Site Manager / Senior Construction Manager to join a major Cardiff construction project. The role is site-based, full-time and reflects a £300 million development.

You will lead site operations, coordinate subcontractors and drive the programme, while maintaining HSE and quality standards to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager, Senior Construction Manager or similar senior site leadership role.
• Experience delivering large-scale, complex construction projects, ideally within commercial, leisure or entertainment sectors.
• Strong knowledge of construction programmes, subcontractor management, health and safety, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with the project programme.
• Managing site teams, subcontractors and trade contractors to maintain progress and achieve key milestones.
• Monitoring programme performance, identifying potential delays and implementing solutions to keep works on track.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality control and environmental compliance across the site.
• Coordinating site activities with the wider project management team, design teams and other stakeholders.
• Monitoring workmanship, inspections and quality documentation to ensure works meet project specifications.
• Reporting on progress, resolving site issues and supporting the successful delivery of this major development.

A leading construction contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Site Manager / Senior Construction Manager to join a major, high-value construction project in Cardiff, with a project value of approximately £300 million.

What you'll be doing
