Senior Site Manager - Healthcare Refurb & Fit Out

No.1 on an £11m Healthcare Fit Out & Refurbishment

Company:

My client are a well established main contractor/general builder with over 20 years of successful trading history.

They deliver high quality projects across London, the South East and East Anglia, spanning listed buildings, education, hospitals/healthcare, commercial, and residential.

Projects typically range from £2m - £7m in value including restoration, fit out, refurbishment and both traditional and D&B new build.

The Project and Role:

They have a newly secured healthcare project for a prestigious client - contract value £11m.

The project is a complex refurbishment and fit out of a healthcare facility near Duxford, Cambridgeshire.

The fit out spans 3 floors with complex installations of CT Scanners, X Ray and diagnostic equipment, consulting rooms and theatres. There is also a 4 storey side extension to the building.

There will be extensive M&E installations. You will have an M&E Manager and Site Supervisors, but they are looking for a candidate who is confident in leading a project of this size and complexity as the No.1 on site.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a No.1 Site Manager leading a project of £7m plus.
• Experience of managing high-tech (hospital/healthcare/laboratory/clean-room/data centre) interior fitout/refurbishment projects.
• Ideally you would have a carpentry background with a good eye for detail.

They are offering a salary of £70 - £80k depending on previous experience and qualifications.
