Job summary

Elvet Recruitment Limited is recruiting two Site Managers for a family-owned business known for quality across Groundworks, Roads and Sewers and Plotworks in County Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire. You will lead projects from early site setup through handover, and ensure programmes are reviewed and RAMS updated.

Requirements include SMSTS, Temporary Works, Appointed Person and First Aid, with degree or HNC/HND in civil engineering.

Qualifications

• Must have: Experience as Site Agent or Site Manager and cradle-to-grave project management.
• Experience with Roads, Sewers, S278 works, Foundations, Kerbing and Drainage.
• SMSTS, Temporary Works, Appointed Person and First Aid are required.

Responsibilities

• Full management of site, reporting to Contracts Manager & Construction Director.
• Lead projects from early site setup through to handover.
• Ensure programmes are reviewed and updated.
• Completing daily site diaries.
• Ordering materials for site.
• Ensure RAMS are written and updated.
• Progress meetings with senior management and client.
• Overseeing direct delivery teams and sub-contractors.
