Job Description:

We're looking for a Senior Site Manager (Electrical) to join our internal MEP business at Kier Group.

Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) is our in-house MEP design and build business, supporting regional and strategic projects across the UK. With a turnover of £80–100m, we deliver innovative solutions in sectors including custodial, commercial, health, and science.

Your role as a Senior Site Manager:

As a key member of our site team, you'll be responsible for the effective management and safe installation of electrical services on site. You'll lead delegated work packages, ensure compliance with specifications, and collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other trades to deliver projects on time and to the highest standards.

You'll also:

  • Ensure all site activities are carried out safely and in line with Kier standards and UK legislation.
  • Oversee quality control and coordinate services installation.
  • Maintain accurate records, including site diaries and progress updates.
  • Support and guide other supervisors and team members.
  • Promote a culture of safety, inclusion, and wellbeing across your team.
