Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan are recruiting an experienced Senior Site Manager for a major residential project in Cambridgeshire. You will take day-to-day control, manage subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery across cladding and fire remediation works.

The role requires proven site management experience on major builds, with strong leadership and communication. Long-term work and ongoing projects are available with CIS or PAYE payments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Senior Site Manager or Site Manager on major construction projects.
• Proven experience within cladding and/or fire remediation.
• Experience on residential blocks is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site management, and health & safety.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site activities effectively.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of site operations.
• Relevant site management qualifications/certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for day-to-day on-site management of works.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and suppliers.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to required quality.
• Coordinate cladding, fire remediation and related activities.
• Monitor progress and report to Project Manager/Senior Management.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, specifications and regulations.
• Maintain site documentation, inspections, permits and quality records.
• Attend and contribute to site meetings with stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve issues on site efficiently.
• Ensure delivery aligns with programme and budget requirements.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health & safety and quality.
