Overview

Ivy Resource Group is seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee new build housing projects in Stafford. This is a permanent role offering up to £80,000 plus package, ideal for someone with a strong background in timber frame construction and volume residential builds.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations on new build housing developments
• Oversee subcontractors, direct labour, and material coordination
• Drive the build programme to meet time, budget, and quality targets
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards and regulations
• Liaise with internal departments, clients, and external consultants
• Conduct regular progress meetings and maintain site documentation
• Deliver high standards of finish and ensure a smooth handover process

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager on new build housing schemes
• Timber frame construction experience is essential
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work certifications
• Excellent knowledge of build programmes, quality control, and health & safety
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence required
