Job Description

We are recruiting for a Senior Site Manager to lead and coordinate multiple residential construction and renovation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site operations, managing trades and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This is a client-facing role requiring strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will liaise with surveyors, suppliers, and local authorities, and ensure all work meets regulatory and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations across multiple domestic construction sites
  • Accurately quote for works, clearly defining scope, pricing, exclusions, and variations
  • Coordinate tradespeople, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation and site protocols
  • Liaise with clients, surveyors, and local authorities throughout project lifecycle
  • Conduct regular site inspections and resolve issues proactively
  • Maintain detailed site records and report progress to senior management
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in site management within residential construction or renovation
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Sound understanding of UK building regulations and compliance standards
  • Full UK driving licence (clean)
  • CSCS card and SMSTS or SSSTS certification
