Senior Site Manager - Renewable Energy Installations

Location: UK and Scotland | 12-month FTC | Competitive salary + excellent benefits

I am recruiting on behalf for a fast-growing renewable energy business, for an experienced Senior Site Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven leader in construction to take ownership of large-scale renewable development projects and play a key role in driving the company's ambitious growth.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily on-site construction activities
  • Ensure full Health & Safety compliance, including site inductions and toolbox talks
  • Coordinate contractors, work schedules and site resources
  • Support installations directly when required
  • Drive Health & Safety culture across all sites
  • Act as the key point of accountability for project delivery and client satisfaction
  • Mentor and train existing site management staff, building team capability
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the construction industry
  • At least 5 years in a site management position
  • Solar experience (desirable)
  • SMSTS qualification (desirable)
  • Strong leadership, mentoring and training abilities
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • IT literate with strong reporting capability
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to make quick, effective decisions
  • Full clean UK driving licence, with flexibility to travel and stay away during projects
