Job summary

Avocet recruitment ltd is seeking a Senior Site Manager (Housing) in Rushden to join a privately owned housebuilder at an exciting growth stage. This role covers delivering high-quality, volume housing developments from groundworks through to completion.

You will lead day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, manage build programmes and maintain health and safety standards, working closely with the technical and commercial teams to ensure on-time delivery and exceptional

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing volume housing schemes with PLC housebuilders.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Deliver developments safely, on programme and to quality standards.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Lead from the front and be proactive.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications preferred.

We are working with a highly respected, privately owned housebuilder that is entering a significant period of expansion. With an excellent reputation for quality, customer satisfaction and delivering well-designed developments, the business is looking to strengthen its site delivery team with an experienced Housing Site Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager who has a strong background in volume housebuilding and is used to managing busy, fast-paced developments from groundworks through to completion.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the development, ensuring homes are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest possible standards.

You will coordinate subcontractors and trades, manage build programmes, maintain health and safety standards and work closely with the wider technical and commercial teams to ensure successful delivery.

About You

• Proven experience managing volume housing schemes with PLC housebuilders
• A strong understanding of the residential construction process
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades
• A solid track record of delivering developments safely, on programme and to quality standards
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A proactive approach and the ability to lead from the front
• Relevant site management qualifications, ideally including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
