The Opportunity:

Walker & Sloan are proud to be partnering with a respected, medium-sized residential contractor to appoint a Senior Site Manager for a brand-new 16-unit Housing Association scheme based in Somerton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take full site responsibility from groundworks through to handover, working with a company that values quality, teamwork, and professional development.

The Role:

As Senior Site Manager, you will take ownership of the project and be responsible for:

• Day-to-day site management and delivery of the project to programme
• Managing all trades and subcontractors
• Ensuring H&S compliance and quality control on site
• Working closely with the contracts manager and commercial team
• Holding regular progress meetings and maintaining site documentation
• Liaising with local authorities and clients where necessary

The Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for an experienced Site Manager with a proven background in residential construction, ideally including:

• Experience managing Housing Association or affordable housing projects
• A track record of delivering schemes from start to finish
• SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS (Black or Gold card preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• The ability to work autonomously and maintain a high-quality standard
